How to Complete the Prince George Scavenger Hunt

  • Use the PDF to help keep track of your progress! You can do this virtually on your device or print a copy to bring along on your adventure.

Step 1: Grab a Birdwatching Kit from the Prince George Public Library

  • Need to borrow some birding supplies? Check out the Prince George Public Library for a birdwatching backpack (subject to availability)! If you have a public library card, you may be able to borrow one for free. No card? No problem! Chat with PGPL staff to explore rental options that work for you.

Step 2: Let’s Go Birdwatching in Prince George

Check off the places you visit on the PDF, OR check in at these locations on the BC Bird Trail App!

Step 3: Birdwatching Bingo!

  • Go birding and play our Birding Bingo game in the PDF! Can you get a BINGO?

Step 4: After All That Exploring, Let’s Head Into Town!

  • After a day of exploring, it’s time to head into town and experience the heart of Prince George. We’re big fans of supporting local, and there’s plenty to celebrate! Stop by one of the local businesses on the Prince George Bird Trail Itinerary and show them some love.

Step 5: Time For Some Birding Trivia!

  • Answer the birding trivia questions on the PDF! How many can you answer correctly? Find the correct answers at the bottom of the PDF to check your work.

Step 6: Enter For a Chance To Win!
