The BC Bird Trail is the result of a group of folks who love British Columbia’s diverse communities, the natural landscapes that surround them, and the migratory birds that nest in our regions throughout the year. The BC Bird Trail is produced by various Destination Marketing Organizations, Destination British Columbia, Birds Canada, Indigenous Tourism BC, and The Number Creative.
Working with Birds Canada, Indigenous Tourism BC, and the regional organizations representing each trail, we crafted the curated itineraries that encourage birders to Discover the Pacific Flyway through Central Vancouver Island, Richmond Delta, and The Fraser Valley along the BC Bird Trail.
Destination BC, a provincial Crown corporation, leads the marketing of British Columbia as a tourist destination and promotes the development and growth of the provincial tourism industry. Destination BC is focused on attracting overnight visitors to the province, by promoting our Super, Natural British Columbia brand to the world, and increasing tourism revenues by supporting industry in the development and delivery of remarkable experiences like the BC Bird Trail.

Indigenous Tourism BC
Indigenous Tourism BC (ITBC) is a non-profit, Stakeholder-based organization committed to the continued growth of a sustainable, authentic, and culturally rich Indigenous tourism industry in British Columbia. Tourism Delta is a not-for-profit Destination Marketing Organization with a mission to promote Delta, BC, to visitors and residents alike. Canada’s voice for birds. Birds Canada is dedicated to conserving wild birds through sound science, on-the-ground actions, innovative partnerships, public engagement, and science-based advocacy. In support of the BC Bird Trail, Birds Canada was integral in the coordinating of itineraries, and connection to the birding community.
