The BC Bird Trail is made possible by:
The BC Bird Trail is the result of a group of folks who love British Columbia’s diverse communities, the natural landscapes that surround them, and the migratory birds that nest in our regions throughout the year. The BC Bird Trail is produced by various Destination Marketing Organizations, Destination British Columbia, Birds Canada, Indigenous Tourism BC, and The Number Creative.
Working with Birds Canada, Indigenous Tourism BC, and the regional organizations representing each trail, we crafted the curated itineraries that encourage birders to Discover the Pacific Flyway and explore the Kootenay Rockies, Northern BC, Thompson Okanagan, Vancouver, Coast & Mountains, and Vancouver Island regions.

Destination British Columbia is a provincially funded, industry-led Crown corporation that supports BC’s tourism industry through global marketing, destination development, industry learning, community partnerships, and visitor services.

Birds Canada is a national charitable organization committed to the conservation of wild birds and their habitats. Their dedicated donors, passionate staff members, and more than 74,000 volunteers take meaningful action to protect birdlife across the country.

Indigenous Tourism BC (ITBC) is a non-profit, stakeholder-based organization committed to growing a sustainable, culturally rich Indigenous tourism industry. ITBC is dedicated to empowering and supporting Indigenous tourism businesses in ways that benefit entire communities.

The Number is a multidisciplinary creative marketing agency based in Victoria, BC. They have been a part of the BC Bird Trail since day one.
