Yellow-rumped Warbler

Lovingly known as “butter butts”, these are slightly larger than most warblers. Their black and white feathers are brightened up with yellow patches on their sides and rump. You may see some looking different from each other, as two subspecies, Myrtle and Audubon’s, are found in BC.
