Townsend’s Warbler

With an eye catching mix of black, white, and yellow stripes, they’re one of the most striking warblers in BC.

Active seasons

Spring with the warbler influx, but can be found through summer and fall as well

How/where to find

Wooded areas that aren’t deep forest are your best bet to find one, though they often hide higher up in the trees and can be tough to get a glimpse of.

You can find the Townsend’s Warbler throughout every Region and Outpost on The BC Bird Trail!
