Maplewood Flats Conservation Area

Managed by the Wild Bird Trust since 1993, the Maplewood Flats Conservation Area is an incredible example of collaborative conservation management. With over 300-acres spanning mudflats, salt marshes, mixed forest, rough grassland and freshwater marshes the site is host to more than 250 species throughout the year. Be sure to stop by the greeter hut on arrival to pick up a detailed map of the site and find out about the latest sightings at this bird watching paradise.
